Nunez Community College in Chalmette will begin offering a Process Technology Fast Track program designed to help those with an associate's degree or higher attain the Associates of Applied Science degree in Process Technology in 16 weeks.
Process Technology is a high-wage, high-skill, and high-demand profession with beginning salaries of over $50,000. Most PTEC positions involve working onsite at various manufacturing or processing facilities.
The program will have its start in late January, and applications are due by January 7. Classes will be held from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. in four mini-sessions of four-week blocks.
