(SSE), located in lower St. Bernard, has positioned itself to lead the region in custom steel fabrication with the installation of revolutionary robotic technology. SSE’s newly installed PythonX Robotic Structural Fabrication System is one of three hundred systems in operation globally, poising the company for exponential growth.
In conjunction with National Manufacturing Day, The St. Bernard Economic Development Foundation (SBEDF) recognizes SSE as an asset to the parish and a crucial company in meeting the future needs of the manufacturing industry. Nationally, the manufacturing industry is challenged with a skilled labor shortage that will struggle to meet the demands of an expanding economy with an aging workforce. National Manufacturing Day aims to address misconceptions about the industry, and ensure a long term, prosperous future for U.S. manufacturers.
